How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Whew! This was a busy one from start to finish for me. You’re going to have to cut me a little slack ‘cause I’m just running late. All sorts of administrative business to take care of. Now that it’s all done, I can get to my pursuits but I have to be quick. Looks like things are wrapping up on the live feed.   There’s not much to discuss today anyway. The Future seems to be on pause in the Realm of AEW as nothing of note went down on Collision and all that’s caught my eye in the WWE Universe is how Drew McIntyre appears to be stuck in the UK. That should give him plenty to bitch about when he gets back. That’s some lemonade in the making if you ask me 😉   So, let’s just get right to it. It’s the Go-Home Week for SummerSlam and RAW is all loaded up to get us salivating for a full weekend of summer action. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Well, you know what the big news is. This was a sad week for the Entertainment World in general. They say celebrity deaths happen in 3s and this time around we had Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Ozzy Osbourne and Hulk Hogan. It’s an odd assortment that conjures all sorts of feelings.   Many of us grew up watching Warner on The Cosby Show . Bill Cosby’s tarnished reputation aside, many of us can’t say he wasn’t a familiar face. I was young during the series so I was often called my family’s Rudy. I wasn’t aware of his more current projects but it was sad to hear he passed. He was relatively young.   Osbourne always held my imagination as I was a rocker growing up and you had to know who Black Sabbath and/or Ozzy Osbourne was in order to talk the shop. He was always fun to parody and came across like a kooky uncle to me. He will certainly be missed.   As for Hulk Hogan, well, we all know he shot himself in the foot a few years ago ...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Enjoying this July and summer so far? This is a bit of a bittersweet Monday with the news of Malcolm-Jamal Warner’s passing. It’s random and sad. It’s another reminder of impermanence. None of us are guaranteed anything in this life. Cherish what comes and what stays. As for the Wrestling World, there’s nothing too crazy going on. There are few things to chat about so, let’s get into it shall we?   In the Realm of AEW, I would say the Riders of Death are making…interesting moves. They took out Colt Cabana who infamously had some sort of falling out with CM Punk. You could say that this guy started the beginning of the end when it comes to Punk’s AEW run. Would this be some roundabout attempt at getting in Punk’s good graces? There is history there. I guess the real question is why but you got Jon Moxley going around trying to “kill” people. Would it be so far-fetched for him to be somewhat stuck in the past?   I don’t have a prob...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? The Wrestling World appears to be taking a bit of a breather given all the action last weekend. Given that, this should be a short post. Let’s get down to what little is going on and get on with it, shall we? In the Realm of AEW, it appears the days for the Riders of Death are “numbered”. AEW protagonists such as Hangman Page and Darby Allin seem to be joining forces to squash their noise. Is this the end? I wouldn’t say so but it is the time to “regroup”. I suppose you can say that Jon Moxley may be suffering from a slight case of denial at the moment but the facts are staring him in the face so, he should respond soon. If the Collision spoilers are any indication, we just haven’t seen it yet. Give him time. The Future remains Bright. In the WWE Universe, it appears that AJ Styles will be visiting his old alma mater for Slammiversary. They’re making it a big deal so, give the man some space. It’s not unlikely that Styles may finish his career with TNA give...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? How’d you like the weekend? There was a little something for everyone, wasn’t there. That means there’s plenty to talk about but I’ll only touch on a few points. If you’re like me, you don’t care that much but like to be kept abreast of the general current events. So, let’s break some of this down. We’ll start in the Realm of AEW as they are feeling elated as the great nasty “masochistic dragon” that is Jon Moxley was finally “slain” by the great and mighty Adam, the Hangman of Page! Now, perhaps it’s my WWE lens but I wasn’t as caught up with this as many commenters were but I have to say that Page’s victory was well-executed. Page stuck to being no-nonsense. He hung with Mox and got bloody with him too and in the end, gave him a taste of his own medicine by “half-strangling” him with a chain. If you saw the conclusion, Mox did the rest with his frenzied reaction. Looked like a cat caught in a net or something but I feel that was the proper response.  ...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts! We’re here at this…quarter’s Saturday Night: Main Event . And…I still don’t know how to approach these every-once-in a-whiles. So, I won’t sweat it for now. I’ll be honest, though. I’ll watch the show but I don’t even remember the full card. All I’m looking at is Goldberg, especially since he has some stuff to say at present. It makes sense to pave the way for whatever next but I’m not sure what that is. A podcast?  Guest spots? I have no idea how this is gonna go but I’m too curious to not watch. Everyone else, all I can say is mind the corporate rules. Broadcast doesn’t mess around so show that you know when to stick to protocol. Sticking to 2 hours will mean more than whatever I care to say. And I’ll leave it at that. The unofficial watch party starts at 5pm PDT. I’ll play it much like last night. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? It’s a hot one in Southern California. No doubt it’s summer. Not complaining as it usually allows me to shed a few unintended pounds. When it comes to the Wrestling World there are things going on. AEW has its All-In PPV coming up and WWE is starting to turn up the heat for Summer Slam. There isn’t a lot for me to comment on but I got a few things. Ready for it? Here it goes. So, I had to stop by the Realm of AEW to check in on the progress of The Future and it appears to be going well. Hangman Page is doing a good job of keeping the focus in the ring and building up the anticipation for this Texas Death Match with Jon Moxley. Moxley did his talking and changed the script at the end of the main event of this week’s Dynamite . The Riders of Death joined forces with the Young Bucks and the Hooligan, Gabe Kidd and looked as if they would try to “kill” Page before the match even happened but then Swerve Strickland entered the chat. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? How’s your Monday going? This has been one of the smoother ones on record for me. As for the Wrestling World, nothing really is resonating with me so, this should be a short post. Ready for it? Here we go. We’ll pitstop in the Realm of AEW to comment on some of their administrative business. There’s been talk that Britt Baker may be WWE bound but now reports are that she’s not leaving AEW anytime soon, which may be for the best. I can’t see people caring enough in the WWE Universe. Many feel she’d be a great heel but the roster is stacked and doesn’t really need someone who’s all bark, no bite. That said, we’ll see if there are any surprises at this weekend’s WWE Evolution event. Over in the WWE Universe, the talk is that the musician Jelly Roll will be working closely with WWE going forward. In what capacity has only been hinted at but the sentiment is that this collaboration should be in effect at least through SummerSlam. I have no problems with this. Je...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Happy Independence Day to my fellow Americans. Yeah, it’s a bit of a mixed bag right now but I’ve always been in favor of the concept of this nation even though execution has always had much to be desired. Regardless, it affords me a day off and some time to relax and get acclimated to my new/temporary surroundings.   As for the Wrestling World, there’s not that much going on for me to get interested in. There’s always plenty but you know me. I’m only interested in so much. I did, however get a bit caught up with some of the goings-on in the Realm of AEW.   You may have realized that I’m only concerned with the Future and at present, that involves Adam “the Hangman” Page. This mustachioed hero isn’t having any of Jon Moxley or his Riders of Death, even if they’re lady-folk. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   A Merry Monday to you. It’s hard for me to complain about it since I have it off to take care of all this settling in business. Thankfully, when I do this again, it should be less packing up and just moving and unloading and things being delivered. This is like a sort of test run for my personal future.   As for the Wrestling World, eyes were on what turned out to be a fair Night of Champions without incident and it appears everyone made it out alive so, that’s comforting. Jeff Bezos getting married appeared to be what got the most attention this past weekend.   Regardless, I was able to check in on the state of affairs in the Realm of AEW and the Future seems to be slowly but surely manifesting. Our Jon Moxley took a moment to wax poetic as he has his sights on the crybaby that is Adam “the Hangman” Page. I can’t help but focus on the moustache when it comes to Page.
