RAW Does 1 Last Run Before Money in the Bank...

 How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?

It’s been fun in the WWE Universe of late. Been enjoying myself. Such a great thing. See how things can be if people just think about it. It’s all I’ve ever been saying. Well, there are some other goings-on in the Wrestling World so let’s touch on a few things shall we. Here we go.

First off, AEW had their Forbidden Door PPV last Sunday and it seems to have done well. It looks like the match between Will Osprey and Swerve Strickland took Match of the Night by a lot. Seems to be it was no real contest. Gonna have to see if I can find that puppy and take a look for myself. It’s got all sorts of likes and thumbs-up across platforms. Bryan Danielson’s/Daniel Bryan’s and Mercedes Moné/Sasha Banks’ matches took distant 2nd and 3rd. All in all, nothing to scoff at. Congratulations for a great night out.

Other congratulations are also due as we have a couple of weddings to offer our Mazel Tovs to. First off, Rhea Ripley and Buddy Matthews/Murphy have made it official. How this will affect the “drama” percolating with Dominik Mysterio remains to be seen but in the meantime, we’ll presume she’s too “busy” to care. I’m sure she’ll contemplate ways to kick both his and Liv Morgan’s ass when she gets back from her honeymoon.

Also, Angelo Dawkins from the Street Profits also decided to tie the knot with his longtime love. Montez Ford, not too surprisingly, was present to officiate the proceedings and Bianca Belair attended as well. May their unions be forever blessed!

We have a little bit of kinda crossover news as Ricochet’s contract expired this week and so many are anticipating his arrival at AEW. Will Osprey has been teasing a face-off and you know what, I’m down for it. I feel Ricochet’s talents would be better utilized and perhaps the confidence boost could pave the way for a potential return to WWE. It’s best now to let him spread his wings and get the credit he deserves. As I’ve expressed before, WWE will take charisma over skill but that doesn’t mean skill isn’t appreciated but a performer should sprinkle some charm on that skill if they want to hang around. Hopefully, AEW will give Ricochet the space to spread his proverbial wings so that he can soar even higher should he ever return. May he excel in his future endeavors.

And so that brings us, for the most part, to tonight’s RAW. Remember it is a Go-Home week as MITB is this Saturday. We got the final RAW Qualifying Triple Threat Matches as Zoey Stark will play tutor to Dakota Kai and Ivy Nile. Later, Drew McIntyre and Sheamus will see what Ilja Dragunov has got to offer. Steep hill for Dragunov to climb but I get the feeling that is the point. Rey Mysterio will check in to see if Dom’s making any progress skill level-wise and Liv Morgan will see if Zelina Vega can really take away the Women’s Title. I’m thinking Vega could if she really wanted but we’ll see what’s in the script.

The unofficial watch party will be at 8pm PDT per usual. Come play along if you’re feeling up to it.

See You in a Bit,

-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
