RAW Makes Sure We Stay on Schedule for SummerSlam...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?

Hanging in there, staying cool if applicable? Today was more eventful that usual, though relatively mundane. I’m sticking my toe into adulthood. So far, so good 😉 As for the Wrestling World, there is some chatter. Not much but some. Shall we get into it? Let’s.

The first order of business is that a couple of our familiar faces have been removed from WWE’s internal roster. Not sure if this just means they’re inactive or have been low-key released but word is MVP and Tamina are no longer officially active. Again, not sure what the full implications are as word also is that MVP is looking to revamp the Hurt Business alongside Bobby Lashley, but Lashley’s contract may be up soon. Not sure if we should prepare to see them off to future endeavors or just sit tight but that’s what’s floating about.

Elsewhere, Johnny Gargano shared some upsetting news regarding the family business. It appears that his Father has been a restaurateur for a few decades but the establishment found in Cleveland, Ohio burned down this past week. It’s an unfortunate occurrence and my heart goes out to the Gargano Family. Hopefully Papa Gargano has good insurance. May they recover and rebuild.

So, that leaves us with tonight’s RAW. We’re almost to Summer Slam so they should be prepping to apply the finishing touches now. In the meantime, Lyra Valkyria will see how she shapes up to a newly returned, but just as mean Sonya Deville. Xavier Woods will team up with his new friends in Otis and Akira Tozawa to take on the Final Testament. And CM Punk will grace us with his presence. We’ll see if Drew McIntyre forgets his “suspended” status to smash Punk into something.

Until then, we can prepare for the unofficial watch party at 8pm PDT. Not that it needs special attention, but you know, if there’s anything you need to take care of beforehand, now’s the time to do it. That’s why I’m typing this up now.

See You in a Bit,

-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
