SmackDown Finalized Preparation for Survivor Series Last Week...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?

Happy after Thanksgiving to those who apply. To everyone else, a Happy Friday. Many of us Stateside have the day off and I just happen to be one of them. It’s nice to have an extra day to digest. As for the Wrestling World, there are some things going on but not that much. There’s enough to have a chat so, let’s get to it.

In the Realm of AEW the Future seems to be manifesting as it should since Jon Moxley is out there cutting promos right after the fight. Looked like he cut the one on this week’s Dynamite right after getting tapped out by Kyle O’Reilly. Maybe wiped his face with a towel and just went for it, looking and sounding crazy. This guy is gonna get himself carted away πŸ˜‰ I didn’t mind it ‘cause it did make me chuckle a bit so, I can tell it’s for play but it’s fine if others can’t make that distinction. Then those people just don’t get it.

As for the action, we get some intrigue as Moxley got himself a showdown with Claudio Castagnoli fka Cesaro for the Continental Classic. That should be interesting. It doesn’t really matter how they play it as long as it’s entertaining. Many commenters are expecting Castagnoli to challenge for Head of the Riders of Death but they don’t have to go there yet. I think it’s good for Mox to demonstrate comprehension along with madness because it keeps everyone guessing.

You would presume he knew where the line was. That’s why he keeps hopping over it, right? It’s up to him to decide. But for him to be a respectful loser as well as sore one works and is more or less true to form. Given how much time is left on the clock, I wouldn’t be surprised if they kept it gentlemanlike to start. Mox could even concede a bit in order to better build the prestige for the Riders of Death. He’ll give credit when it’s due for the most part. Maybe in the event of a Castagnoli win, he later reveals that was always part of the plan. Conversely, should Mox win, Castagnoli could make his move to power by later disclosing that he let Mox win to bolster Mox’s confidence and better secure the Riders of Death as a formidable faction. There’s plenty of ways to do it. As always, the prime directive is to have fun doing it. I’ll continue to leave them to it. The Future remains Bright.

Over in the WWE Universe, we all prepare ourselves for Survivor Series. The Gods have been kind and allowed us clear weather so, we can anticipate a good show in that respect. As for tonight’s SmackDown Go-Home Show, we have a pre-recorded episode awaiting us so that our players can enjoy the holiday. When it comes to the show itself, we can expect LA Knight to battle some “Mystery Opponent” for his shot at John Cena. Rusev will face Jey Uso in the next round. The Ladies will have their WarGames Advantage Match as Charlotte Flair and Asuka battle for their teams. Then to give some of our less regular players something to do, we’ll have a 10-man Elimination Match as Sami Zayn fronts a crew made up of Rey Fenix, Shinsuke Nakamura and the Motor City Machine Guns, while Solo Sikoa brings the Bloodline Juggalos.

We got a house full of leftovers so, cooking is optional tonight. I like to mix it up so I already procured some Chinese Food. I’ll save the second feast for tomorrow night. In the meantime, the unofficial watch party will get started at 8pm PST. Swing by if you can’t be bothered to do much else. I’ll have the Matches of Interest post up tomorrow afternoon, before the show.

See You in a Bit,

-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
