RAW Makes Sure We're Ready for Survivor Series...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?

It’s another Monday and it’s Go-Home week for Survivor Series. There was a chance that I might attend this time around but upon thinking about it…I figured I’d be happier at home. It’s hard to do what I do and be a present patron. But WrestleMania should be another story πŸ˜‰ In the meantime, let’s get caught up and ready for tonight’s show.

We’ll start in the Realm of AEW since they had their Full Gear PPV this past Saturday. As I’m sure many of you have gathered, I’m only interested in the Future so I checked out the Jon Moxley vs. Kyle O’Reilly match and it was basically Part 2 to their Blood & Guts match. It might have been bloodier. You could say that Mox “forked” him but O’Reilly forked him back and eventually tapped Mox out again with the ankle lock.

Mox seemed to take it in stride but then proceeded to become a sore loser and dished out some unsportsmanlike conduct before exiting with the rest of the Riders of Death as O’Reilly’s crew helped him backstage to get patched up. So, here’s where it gets interesting. We all know Mox isn’t making friends but the question is how to keep this “bad behavior” interesting.

The WWE Crowd would take this opportunity to shit all over Mox, as they should, but the AEW Crowd is a bit more peace-loving and this behavior tends to get frowned upon as opposed to prompt taunts and heated engagement. The term “get heat” just doesn’t apply there. They get pouty and dish out admonishment. For shame! So, with so much time on the clock, the key now is not to turn off the fans.

I think I’ve made it clear I usually default to humor in these sticky situations but I’m thinking the Realm of AEW allows its Faces to serve up some Karma to Mox. That could definitely start things off towards getting “out of control”. We know that Mox would never get the lesson but he’d have fun volleying back the tit for tat. Here’s where dissension within the Riders of Death could begin as well.

Someone (probably Wheeler Yuta) could start to question what they’re doing and why. Mox probably would have a delusional speech ready and the lug nuts can start to loosen from there. They’re free to experiment here but the assignment is not to lose the AEW Crowd. They’re more sensitive than the WWE lot so, some care must be taken but there are plenty of places they can go and with so much time still left, they can play around with the pieces and see what makes a pretty picture. Let’s leave them to it.

As for the WWE Universe, they’re setting the final bits in place for Saturday. Tonight is scheduled to be a pretty stacked show. The Men of WarGames have to select 2 from each team to box with each other for match advantage. Something tells me most of the show is going to be the back and forth on who gets the short straws. JD McDonagh will take his fall mid-term for SeΓ±or Rey Mysterio’s class. Solo Sikoa will see if Penta (Lucha-Mitsu) gets in his way on the road to facing John Cena for the last time. Same goes for GUNTHER as he sees if Carmelo Hayes ruins any plans. Dominik Mysterio will talk some shit ahead of his match with Cena this Saturday and Roman Reigns will start off the festivities.

I’ll be starting the show around 6:30pm. This should be one of the final times for that. By December I should be back to the regular West Coast timing but I may start a little earlier just ‘cause. Got stuff to do. Feel free to stop by if you’re in the area. I know most of us got work tomorrow. Kudos to you if you were able to take it off. That is the ideal way to go.

See You in a Bit,

-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
