RAW Gets Us Ready for a Long Stretch...

 What’s Going On, Enthusiasts?

How’s this Monday treating you? Can’t really complain to be honest. Yet, there is some intriguing buzz circulating around the wrestling world. Let’s cut to the chase and get into it.

So, the Velveteen Dream situation has a new dimension. Dream has posted an earnest statement explaining his side of the story. Well…from what I can gather, it’s a mild form of pederasty that may have occurred. Yet, given the minors involved are also questionable, it’s just hard to get a clean read. What seems to be safe to presume is that no physical transgression has actually occurred, meaning he did not actually molest anyone but there is talk that a dick pic was exchanged so, it’s unlikely WWE will bring him back anytime soon. Well, it’s like I was saying last post. Riddle should be a little nervous. He actually transgressed. I won’t say he’s next but if he’s not well-received anytime soon don’t be surprised if they quietly show him the door.

In happier news, let me just say that I fucking love Aleister Black. I love what he’s doing on SmackDown and I see great, great things. We just have to pray and pray hard that WWE doesn’t muck it all up because that would be absolute suicide! This guy is something. I knew it when he debuted. I also knew WWE probably wouldn’t know what to do with him because of it. They didn’t disappoint in that regard. Now that it is somewhat documented that WWE has a habit of dropping the ball with fine talent, they now have to show they know what to do or at least demonstrate they’re doing their damnedest to make it work. He appears to be pledging Heel after assisting Apollo Crews but who knows. A character like that tends to be difficult to call and for good reason. It builds intrigue and allure. Something Black appears to be soaked in. I’m all for it. This may be the start of something. I know I’ve said this before but something about this time around seems “real”. Expect changes as they get closer to performing in front of live audiences again. It’s only natural.

It’s a little off topic but it’s close enough to bring us to tonight’s RAW. This show has been struggling of late. Last week wasn’t that bad but it’s been no comparison to SmackDown, to almost the point of embarrassment. It’s really lacking. I don’t know what it is but they gotta fix it. It’s laughable and not in a good way. I’d love it to be in a good way but I’m not sure when we can start honestly hoping for that. In the meantime, the Ladies will put the Tag Team Titles on the line again as Natalya & Tamina face Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax for another time. Sounds like Kofi Kingston gets another chance at being a #1 Contender as he gets the nod to face Drew McIntyre for a shot at the title. Outside of that, we’ll have to wait and see. Funny tweets get retweeted and as for Likes, goodness, we’ve got some time until Hell in a Cell, almost a whole month. This is the epitome of No Man’s Land so, we’ll be seeing what WWE makes of it. Let’s give them a chance and prepare for some experimental moves. But if it is absolutely atrocious, don’t hold back. They need to know.

See You in a Bit,

-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
