Clash in Paris 2025 - RAW Fallout

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?

Did you catch Clash in Paris? Honestly, I’m glad I went in blind. It was a solid show. Nothing anyone needed to see but at the same time, not exactly a waste of time. I liked the main event the most but the Match of the Night went to John Cena vs. Logan Paul. Paul is better than you’d like to give him credit for and he’s accepting Heel-dom well so, we’re going to start loving to hate him. We’re also going to have to get used to Lord Seth Rollins and Lady Becky Lynch acting more as a cohesive unit. With her intervention in the Fatal-4-Way, sources online are stating that she’s now a member of The Vision. Always thought that was a given but if there was any wonder, there it is.

All in all, I wasn’t disappointed with the show. It didn’t need my full attention but it did leave some interesting hints for the Future. The show opened with Roman Reigns and closed with Lynch and Rollins which leads me to think that the seeds are taking root. We should start to see some healthy saplings next year.

As for other news in the WWE Universe, The Rock was also across the pond this weekend but he was at the Venice Film Festival. He’s promoting the proper film he’s in, The Smashing Machine. However, what has been getting most of the press is his slimmed down physique. He followed in Batista’s steps and leaned down which does take some getting used to. His is a body type that can afford to wear a little more weight than us more run-of-the-mill types so, to see him slim makes me think he looks kind of sick. I’m sure he’s in fine health, I’m just used to him being more filled out.

This makes me think that he’ll have less to do on screen with WWE for the time being. It’s hard being the “Final Boss” when it looks like it wouldn’t take much to beat you. I still wouldn’t want any but this is a boss you wouldn’t need cheat codes to get past. Just saying.

In any case, that brings us to tonight’s Clash in Paris RAW fallout. This went down on French Time earlier today so, feel free to partake at your leisure. We can expect the customary 6-Man-Tag that will have the War Raiders recruiting Penta aka Lucha Mitsu to have a go at The Bad New Day who have chosen Grayson Waller as their 3rd Man. Asuka and Kairi Sane will see what Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez have for them. And Dominik Mysterio will continue to workshop with AJ Styles, this time for the Intercontinental Championship. I’d give it to Styles but with Dom not playing by the rules, I’m not going to hold my breath for it.

I too will be knocking the show out earlier than usual and that will be the case for at least the next couple of weeks. Got to adjust for a temporary schedule change so I’ll be getting started around 6pm PDT. I’ll see how those east of the Mississippi live for a little while. You’re welcome to join me if your schedule allows. You know where to find me.

See You in a Bit,

-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
