RAW Points to Crown Jewel-Perth....
How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?
A Merry Monday to you! So, there’s not much to talk
about but there’s been some talk. Given that, this will be a fairly short post
but that’s all right. Sometimes it’s best to just get to it. Let me just say my
little piece and then we can get on with the evening.
So, all the talk of late has been concerning last
week’s SmackDown and the “botch of the century” with Nia Jax just
missing her kickout. To me, it seemed very relatable. She must have just missed
the count or was thinking about something else. She just spaced if you ask me.
But most were upset with the referee and Tiffany Stratton for not going with
things as is. Apparently, general rule is to play the match as witnessed so if
someone goofs, oh well, that’s what goes down in “history”. The miscommunication
basically just led to a do-over and a lot of boos and comments on social media.
I don’t mind that these ladies had a human moment. It
happens. Yet, WWE should establish a precedent for such things. They don’t happen
often so, I understand the confusion but they need to decide if they’ll just
play as is or if do-overs are allowed. Once that’s decided and put into
practice, hopefully that will assist in keeping the action going and believable
for the future. However, I’m not really complaining. As I said, I can accept our
performers being human once in a while.
Anyway, I said this would be brief so that brings us
tonight’s RAW. We have Crown Jewel-Perth next weekend so the final
pieces are being set into place. We can expect to see some version of Bayley
taking on Raquel Rodriguez. I’m sure Roxanne Perez will jump in at some point.
Rusev will attempt to indoctrinate Dominik Mysterio. Kinda here for that,
actually. The Usos will get their own do-over against Bron Breakker and Bronson
Reed and then during the evening, if you are behind or would like a refresher,
we’ll have the first part of the history of the feud that simmers between Cody
Rhodes and Lord Seth Rollins.
I should be watching by 6:30pm PDT this evening so,
anyone available, you know where to find me. Just got other things on my plate
but that shouldn’t last too long. Should be back to “normal” in a couple of
weeks or so. Enjoy it while it lasts if you prefer an earlier start. Can’t tell
if I have a preference. There are pros and cons to early and late starts.
See You in a Bit,
-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
