RAW Starts to Point Toward the New PLE, Wrestle-Palooza...
How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?
Well, we have
come full circle as AJ Lee did in fact return last week and I have to say that
I’m glad. It feels like some wrongs can get righted and we all can more or less
move on, on a more appropriate footing. One of the good things about WWE is
that redemption seems to be an underlying theme. You can always come back, for
the most part.
My only notes
were that they may want to contemplate updating her gear. We’re all older and
wiser now and though no one can complain about the shape she’s in, she’s no
longer 20-something. I vote for something more fitting for the new and
improved version π
Regardless, she
still seems willing and able to bring the “crazy” so we’ll see how this goes. I
didn’t factor Lee into the Future but she can certainly participate, especially
if it catches Lord Seth Rollins or Lady Becky Lynch any hell, which I don’t see
why it couldn’t. We’ll see where it all stands when the time comes.
Speaking of the
Future, the Realm of AEW is preparing for their All Out PPV that happens on the
same day as this new Wrestle-Palooza that WWE is debuting for their ESPN partnership.
Jon Moxley has his sights set back on Darby Allin. Looks like he may just try
to send Allin to Abu-Dhabi this time but in a coffin for good measure. Why do I
get the feeling Allin would just come back? Ah, that’s the point. He may be
45lbs but he doesn’t stay down for the count. I’ll leave them to it.
Back in the WWE
Universe, for tonight's RAW AJ Styles may have more than we all bargained for as he takes on the current
El Grande Americano. Lyra Valkyria will see what Raquel Rodriguez has got in
the tank. The Brothers Uso will reunite to speak on Jey getting attacked last
week and AJ Lee will officially take her place back at the table.
The unofficial
replay party will start at about 7pm PDT. Like I said last post, my schedule
will be a bit different for a couple of weeks but I should be back to normal come
Wrestle-Palooza. If you got nothing else going on, you know where to find me if
you’re up for playing along.
