Crown Jewel-Perth ─ RAW Fallout...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?

It’s another Monday and I get to enjoy the old schedule for a moment. I should be back to it full time come November but for now, I’ll take in a little nostalgia.

As for the Wrestling World, there are a few things to talk about but I’ll be sticking to the obvious for the time being. Shall we get started? Let’s.

So, in the Realm of AEW Darby Allin and Jon Moxley appear to understand the assignment as Allin continues to take it to Mox as he crashed a panel at the New York Comic-Con to rough Mox up. Well, it looked like Allin got a lot of that but you know what I mean. He’s not afraid of Mox! Which is the right way to proceed.

Yet, if I’m Mox, I’m treating Allin like a cat. Given he’s 45lbs., Mox should be grabbing for the scruff and trying to “put him outside”. I know Orange Cassidy is more inherently cat-like but Allin is just skinny enough to manhandle so that’s what Mox should be doing. Completely “disrespecting” him. If he keeps a “big brother” tone to it, we should get some natural moments of hilarity too. For now, I think that’s all this needs. It should be fun, not serious.

I’m rooting for Allin but I can understand if “facts” just outweigh the size of his heart. Allin will have to be crafty if he wants to ever beat the likes of Mox. Stay within those parameters and the Future not only remains Bright but it becomes Fun. Nothing wrong with that. You want others to come along for the ride. I’ll leave them to it.

In the WWE Universe, Crown Jewel-Perth came and went and it went off without a hitch for the most part. Most are in agreement that the AJ Styles vs. John Cena match was Match of the Night and it appears that the facts just allowed me to come to the right conclusion. As you can see, no one is upset with Cena taking the W and I appreciated how they gave Styles his proverbial flowers with the introduction. He had to be the Big Man and I hope next year, they send him off right.

Props goes to Stephanie Vaquer and Tiffany Stratton as well. They were the women’s example of current greatness and they did not disappoint. Now, they just have to beware Vaquer’s reign getting boring. It’s beginning to remind me of when I was a kid and in to tennis. Back then, there were long standing champions and Steffi Graff was the woman to beat. She had already won everything 3 times over and was running out of things to do.

Not sure her younger self could hang with the current standings but she won so much it got annoying, at least to me. I was a Monica Seles fan but after she got stabbed, she was never the same. But that’s a digression. What I’m getting at is that we get bored. That’s basically what happened to Charlotte Flair. Everyone got tired of her wearing the belt so, that will be key here. Keep it interesting for however long it lasts.

In the meantime, we have Crown Jewel-Perth Fallout. It’s all said and done so it’s replay for everyone for the most part. We’ll see how Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez deal with the “bi-polar” Bayley and Lyra Valkyria. Feel worried most for Valkyria if you ask me. It’s a recipe for a lose-lose if Bayley gets triggered πŸ˜‰ Penta aka Lucha-Mitsu will see if he can teach Dominik Mysterio anything. And we’ll hear some more from our Champions of Champions in Vaquer and Lord Seth Rollins.

Word is that Rollins is legitimately hurt so, that’s why he gets what he gets for now. So, it will be interesting how he crafts his “revenge” upon his return. He’ll have plenty of time to think about it.

Until then, the unofficial replay party will begin at about 8pm PDT tonight. All ye West Coasters and others who have a flexible Tuesday coming up are welcome to play along. I’m going to be where I always am. Stop by if you got nothing else on your plate.

See You in a Bit,

-Nicole Alexis.
