SmackDown Picks Up a Few Final Things Before Heading to Australia...
How’s It’ Going, Enthusiasts?
Enjoying your Friday? Can’t say I can complain that much. Looking forward to sleeping in π But before we get to that, let’s chat a bit about this here “wrassling”. There’s not much going on but that hasn’t stopped me before.
Let’s just do a brief stop in the Realm of AEW. The path to the Future appears to be in the process of being paved so, I’ll let that asphalt dry. In the meantime, it looks like WWE doesn’t care where Andrade goes next as he turned up back in AEW.
The general sentiment is that Andrade is just going where the wind blows but ideally he’d prefer to head back to WWE yet, given how the word going around that he was more or less let go, I’m not sure how feasible that is. He’s a good performer. No doubt he’s talented but alas, the WWE Universe just doesn’t seem to care. It happens. It’s a popularity contest in the end and Andrade just wasn’t that popular. Not sure that’s gonna change back at AEW but he should be more generally appreciated.
And so, that brings us to tonight’s SmackDown. Crown Jewel-Perth is the name of the game and to prepare, we can expect Sami Zayn to continue to toss up the US Championship to any takers. Tiffany Stratton will put last week’s fumble behind her and focus on the Contract Signing with Stephanie Vaquer. And Cody Rhodes will partner with Randy Orton to show those “new kids” in Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed how to respect their elders…or not. We’ll see.
I’ve got cooking duties but it shouldn’t distract me too much. It’s a pretty simple meal. It’s cutting up the garlic that takes up the most time. Just between you and me that’s my secret ingredient, a crap-ton of garlic. Stop by if you got the time. I’m easy to find.
See You in a Bit,
-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
