SmackDown Sticks to the Survivor Series Assignment...

How’s Everyone Doing? 

This a good Friday night for you? Oy, work has got me working all day long. I barely get any breaks. Not sure how to feel about it. The job security is nice but yeesh, I like being able to coast you know. I love jobs where you can do other things to fill the time. Not me, at the moment. Well, there are greater travesties in the world. Let’s look at what’s going on in wrestling, shall we. 

 

Well, Becky Lynch, bless her heart, tried her hand at Celebrity Jeopardy and unfortunately demonstrated why she’s in wrestling. Apparently, she earned the unfortunate distinction of one of the worst showings by not getting 1 answer right. I’m sure she’s tops in a lot of other things but general knowledge is not one of them. ‘Tis the crux of the athletic life. Jocks aren’t known for their smarts. Doesn’t mean they don’t have any just not exactly encouraged to develop the book variety. We’ll see if she’s prompted to read more books. She got the ratings jump, though and $30,000 goes to Connor’s Cure anyway so, it’s no real loss. 

 

In the WWE Universe, we’re gearing up for Survivor Series and the lines are being drawn and the allegiances confirmed. Tonight, we can expect Solo Sikoa to return to the fray after sending John Cena back to acting. We’ll have a Tag Team Triple Threat with The Street Profits, Brawling Brutes and Pretty Deadly vying for #1 Contender status for the Titles. Damage CTRL XL is slated to make their mark and LA Knight will continue to foster a feud with the Bloodline in general with Jimmy Uso being the representative. Jimmy has been hilarious of late so we’ll see if this leads to a strange bedfellows situation since his hijinks seem to poke fun at the family dynamic. We’ll see if Roman Reigns gives him any reason to defect between now and next Saturday.  

 

I’ll be watching along with the rest of the West Coast at 8pm PST. You’re more than welcome to join the watch party. We should get a few more tasty morsels before Go-Home next week. Let’s enjoy the evening and have a little fun.
