RAW Does Its Job and Sends Everyone Home for Survivor Series / War Games...

 How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?

Welcome to a new week and Happy Thanksgiving to my stateside readers. We got some stuff to chat about today. Let’s not waste time and get right into it. It’s only some, so it shouldn’t take too long. Ready? Here we go!

We’ll start over in the Realm of AEW as they had their Full Gear PPV over the past weekend. It’s no surprise that Match of the Night went to Will Osprey and Kyle Fletcher but it looks like Mercedes Moné and Kris Statlander took the Silver. From what snipits I could find, I can see why. Good for them! As for the Moxley Takeover tinged main event between Jon Moxley and Orange Cassidy, it didn’t medal amongst onlookers but the match itself was fine. It’s everything that spilled out after that soured palettes.

For what I’m looking at, I didn’t mind it. Moxley just bullied Cassidy but Cassidy hung tough. Moxley retained with help and distractions so Cassidy loses no face. Mox does have to contemplate how to make this experiment more engaging as it is hard to vouch for his takeover at present. As I keep saying, a good heel makes you like watching her/his/their hijinks. Mox has yet to find the formula to make the Crowd enjoy his type of domination. I would say he’s putting over Cassidy and Darby Allin, though so, it’s not all lost. But I would just say that at this early stage, making this more entertaining may be the next item of business. There’s a long way to go, in theory.

I do have one suggestion. Since Allin is proving a thorn in the side, perhaps they could lay down some mild foreshadowing and ship Allin somewhere. Straight treat him like Nermal of Garfield fame and send him to “Abu Dhabi”. Set like a man-sized “trap” that Allin walks into and once captured, ship him somewhere. That could provide some early fodder for Mox’s psych hold should they go that route. Allin could definitely be one of the suspects with that move. I’m thinking whatever they decide to do, it should be over-the-top but kinda funny. You know, a little silly just ‘cause that’s how something like that should be played. It’s almost a prank. Mox should kinda fuck with people. He’s already antagonizing, might as well make it funny. But as I said, it’s just a suggestion 😉

Over in the WWE Universe, we have the Go-Home shows for Survivor Series/War Games. Last week we saw CM Punk return to complete Roman Reigns’ team. Given Punk’s history with Paul Heyman, where this goes could be interesting as Reigns wasn’t exactly ecstatic to see Punk join up. If Reigns’ Team goes down, I think we can already start to see what may happen.

As for tonight’s RAW, we can expect to see Rey Mysterio play Camp Counselor as he oversees a Tag Team Match with himself and Dragon Lee checking out the Creed Brothers. The New Day tease implosion while they face the revamped Alpha Academy. Bron Breakker will dangle the Intercontinental Championship in front of Ludwig Kaiser and Nia Jax will take on Bianca Belair as they decide “Champion’s Advantage” for Saturday’s War Games.

The Unofficial Watch Party will commence at 8pm PST per usual. If you plan on catching up, feel free to stop by. It’s a more the merrier kind of thing.

See You in a Bit,

-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
